About Me

My photo
Photography became my passion after I graduated college. Through out the years I've learned that great photos happen when you are yourself, and not when you are reserved. I always strive to capture a greater photo than my last... and that is what makes me a better photographer everyday.

Propaganda in Advertising/PR

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLGk9Q

The three propaganda techniques this advertisement uses are intentional vagueness, slogans and virtue words.

Honda makes this advertisement with intentional vagueness by having their robot named ASIMO go through a museum of technology with no words to be said and you interpret the advertisement in your own way when watching him walk around. The words that are spoken later on in the advertisement are virtue words because they are positive words that describe Honda as being always creative and up to date with technology. At the end is their slogan... "HONDA, the power of dreams"
